Dedicated to rescuing unwanted, neglected, and abused draft horses from the threat of slaughter, Jasmin Shinn of 1 Horse @ a Time Draft Rescue goes the extra mile to save those that others have forsaken. Operating from Montana, even in frigid temperatures of -40 degrees, she offers around-the-clock care with unwavering dedication, unconditional love, and genuine belief in each horse, significantly influencing their will to survive. Her exceptional commitment is supported by our collaboration, which involves providing permanent homes for the medically fragile ones. This allows her to free up space in quarantine and foster homes and continue rescuing drafts destined for slaughter, advancing the mission.
